Sebastian Scheipers

Sebastian Scheipers was born and grew up near the Swiss border in Lorrach, Germany. As a young guitarist, crossing the border seemed a logical step, and he then studied at Basel Music College under Wolfgang Muthspiel. However, he still remains true to his second greatest passion today, hip-hop, and plays both genres regularly. His striving to create a clear statement can always be detected despite his virtuosity.
Another reference to Brad Mehldau: Yannick Tinguely from Lausanne was an enthusiastic student under Larry Grenadier. He profited from his teaching concept and orients himself to virtuosity and charisma. In the meantime, he has his own place as bassist in demand and lives and works in Berlin.
